We are excited to announce the launch of the newly refreshed HQ RIO Learning site!

This updated platform features a modernized look and enhanced functionality designed to improve the overall user experience while providing a centralized, one-stop location for training and essential resources.

The site brings together a wide range of topics critical to supporting the IR community, including deployments, pay, career management, orders, points and participation, travel, and readiness. Users can earn badges as recognition for successfully completing all activities within a course. The site also features an interactive Battle Rhythm Calendar and dedicated content for Unit Reserve Coordinators (URCs) and HQ RIO staff.

Updated URC course

This course provides URCs with an understanding of the URC role fundamentals. It summarizes Section 2.8.12 of DAFMAN 36-2114 which outlines the requirements of the URC role, and then translates what each requirement means in practice. To detail what each requirement means in practice, this course includes best practices sourced from experienced URCs and HQ RIO, knowledge check scenarios, and resources (e.g., policies, quick guides, videos, websites) to learn more about specific topics related to the role.

The ability to download a certificate of completion for the RIO 101 and URC Training courses will appear once you have successfully completed the course on the learning site. Certificates can also be accessed via the “My Certificates” link in your Profile.
