New DAF Form 1288 Released

The Air Force has updated the DAF Form 1288. Please note the following procedures for HQ RIO:

Old versions are valid ONLY if signed by the member or appropriate authority BEFORE August 11, 2025.
Forms signed AFTER August 11, 2025, will be returned.

You can find the new form, and other helpful documents, in our Document Library HERE.

This form simplifies assignment and reassignment processes within the Air Force Reserve Component, including:

AFR Accession
Reassignments
AFR to ANG Transfers
RegAF to AFR PALACE CHASE

Forms will be submitted for processing through myFSS (myIMA title) to your servicing Detachment.
