Chief Master Sergeant JOFRED AVILES

Chief Master Sergeant Jofred Aviles serves as the Group Senior Enlisted Leader for Headquarters Readiness and Integration Organization, Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado. He is responsible for all U.S. Air Force Individual Mobilization Augmentee matters under the direction of the Headquarters Readiness Integration and Organization commander. Chief Aviles advises on all matters affecting operations, training and readiness, health, morale and welfare and discipline. He is responsible for development, integration, and implementation of strategies supporting IMA personnel policies affecting 143 Active Guard Reservists, civilian and contractors. He provides advisement and direct oversight and support to over 7,800 Individual Mobilization Augmentees and Participating Individual Ready Reservists to provide combat-ready Airmen to active component commanders across 53 separate organizations which include all Major Commands, Combatant Commands, and various government agencies.

Chief Aviles enlisted into the Air Force on June 27, 2006, as a health services management apprentice. Throughout his career, Chief Aviles has served in multiple capacities within the Health Services Management, Aerospace Medicine, and Special Operations Support communities. Additionally, he served as the Air Force Reserve Command's Medical Staff Manager overseeing credentialing and privileging administration services for 63 Reserve Medical Units encompassing 2,106 providers. Chief Aviles has deployed in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, FREEDOM SENTINEL, INHERENT RESOLVE and DELIBERATIVE RESOLVE.

Prior to his current position, Chief Aviles served as the Health Services Management, Medical Material, Biomedical Equipment and Mental Health Service MAJCOM Functional Manager, where he oversaw internal policies and procedures while providing counsel on regulations governing specific training for 1,600 personnel across four enlisted specialties.
