We are proud to recognize Mr. Ben Patrick (ACC/A1) as the Unit Readiness Coordinator (URC) of the 2nd Quarter. His outstanding contributions have had far-reaching impact across the Air Force, setting a benchmark for excellence in readiness coordination. Mr. Patrick’s accomplishments reflect the highest standards of service, leadership, and strategic foresight.

FY25 IDT Reimbursement Guide updated (Version 5). New AFSCs have been added. You can find the new guide

IR Guide Updates. The following sections of the IR Guide have been updated: Officer Promotion, MSD, and HYT. Visit the IR Guide

Reminders:
- Changes to the Air Force’s dress and appearance standards. Air Force dress and appearance standards updated. Key changes: OCP uniforms mandatory for officers, eyelash extensions banned (waiver needed), clarified OCP sleeve rolling, and specific combat boot height requirements. Aims to simplify policies. - Eligibility for the Reserve Component Survivor Benefit Plan. Starting Aug. 1, 2025, meeting Reserve retirement requirements qualifies you for RCSBP. This plan provides beneficiaries a monthly annuity after your death. Choose RCSBP carefully to avoid unintended consequences. Learn more HERE.
- TSA phasing out Uniformed Service IDs. Starting in Fall 2025, the TSA is expected to phase out Uniformed Service IDs (USIDs) as acceptable identification at airport checkpoints due to new government policies. However, Common Access Cards (CACs) will continue to be accepted. For more information, click HERE.
