Status of Forces Survey. The Status of Forces survey helps shape policy and allows Reservists to provide input to how current personnel policies affect YOU. The survey is available to targeted Reserve Command members and will remain open until 10 Mar 25. Targeted Reserve Command members have been notified via military email (.mil) accounts, but the survey can be accessed and completed online using any device with an internet connection. Pending Update to DAFI 36-2903, Dress and Personal Appearance of Department of the Air Force Personnel. The DAFGM to DAFI 36-2903 published on 1 Feb 25. A correction to the DAFGM is in progress to include updated definitions. Regarding fingernail guidance, French manicures include white tips with a base of clear and American manicures include ivory white or cream tips with a base of clear. Regarding Duty Identifier Patches, Duty Identifier Patches (ADMIN, EXEC, SF, etc.) are no longer authorized effective 01 Feb 25. Duty Identifier Tabs (a small arch e.g., "AIR ADVISOR", “RAVEN” signifying a special, unique qualification and/or training) are still authorized.
AFSC Conversion (Maintenance). AFSCs 2W0, 2W1, and 2W2 will change to 8W0, 8W1, and 8W2. Unless additional information is received, AFSC duty titles will remain the same. Official guidance forthcoming.
