Hello!  This will be the last RIO Buzz for 2020 and what a year it has been.  What I am thankful for this year is YOU and the tremendous service you provide.  Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and a great start to 2021!

STEP II GUIDANCE COMING SOON
STEP II is a commander’s program designed to promote outstanding Reserve Airmen.  The STEP II board schedule has yet to be determined and the full guidance isn’t out yet, but if you plan to submit for the board, now is a good time to start preparing (i.e., 24 months of retainability and completion of the appropriate PME for your grade).  More information will be released soon!

SELLING BACK OR CARRYING OVER LEAVE?  PLEASE CHECK YOUR SUBMISSIONS!
There has been a surge of leave sell back and carry over submissions with errors and that causes significant delays to you and our RPO technicians.  Before you submit your paperwork, please check to make sure that you’ve followed the guidance posted at www.arpc.afrc.af.mil/hqrio/IMA-RPO.  Also double check that you submit the certified copy of your orders and attach the completed AF Form 1089.
