It’s only been a week since the last newsletter, but there is a lot going on.  So, it’s time for another RIO Buzz …

A NEW WAY TO ACCESS RMVS
The Reserve Vacancy Management System has moved to the cloud and there is now a new link you need to use to access it.  If you’d like to research other reserve openings, click here: https://afpcsecure.us.af.mil/PKI/MainMenu1.aspx.

NEW MEMO REGARDING COVID VACCINE AVAILABILITY FOR IRs
The COVID vaccine is becoming available to more tiers across the country.  This new memo (https://www.hqrio.afrc.af.mil/Portals/149/Documents/COVID/SIGNED%20-%20%20ACCESS%20TO%20COVID%20VACCINE%20SELRES%20DHA-210216-N5MS.pdf?ver=ojnBn2Wr79FG0lpDZ6YWdQ%3d%3d) from the Director of the Defense Health Agency clearly states your ability to access any Military Treatment Facility or DoD vaccine site as a member of the Selected Reserve.  You may need to show it in order to receive the vaccine at a facility you’re not assigned to.

NEW OFFICER STRATIFICATION GUIDANCE ANNOUNCED
New guidance regarding how officers can be stratified has been announced.  We expect Air Force Reserve Command guidance to follow shortly, but please familiarize yourself with the new rules published by the Active Duty AF: https://www.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/2519199/air-force-announces-officer-stratification-guidance/.

CHANGE TO THE MAJORS BOARD ARPCM
The Air Reserve Personnel Center promotions directorate has updated the information regarding how any adverse information in your Officer Selection Record (OSR) will be handled by the board.  You can read the updated ARPCM at this link: https://mypers.af.mil/app/answers/detail/a_id/48615.

PT TESTING PUSHED TO JULY
