HQ RIO TRAINING SITE HAS ALL THE INFO
HQ RIO has been working hard to create detailed, interactive training modules to help IRs with common tasks and to learn more about the “ins and outs” of being an individual reservist. Click HERE and select the “RIO Learning Experiences” image to enter the HQ RIO training site. You will need to set up a username and password, but it’s quick and easy. Any time you need help or information, these training modules can probably help!
 
OFFICER SCOD TRANSITION PLAN
The U.S. Air Force will transition officer performance reports (OPR) to static closing dates (SCOD) by grade beginning in CY22 and ending in CY23. This change will apply to all Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard Officers. You can determine your SCOD by using THIS CHART. For more information, visit myPers.
 
HARM AND MEDICAL ARE MOVING TO MYFSS
The Department of the Air Force is giving myPers and the virtual Personnel Center (vPC) a technical refresh by migrating current capabilities to the CRM platform, my Force Support Squadron (myFSS). The new platform improves services to Airmen and Guardians, consolidates HR platforms, and reduces IT investments and vulnerabilities.
 
The HARM application will be available on the new myFSS platform effective 29 Jul 2022.
 
Reminders about the changeover will be sent to IMA aircrew members until 1 Sep 2022. Please see the slides (below) for step-by-step instructions on how to submit HARM requests in myFSS.

Beginning 29 July 2022, your first step is to login into myFSS using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. Select the Command Access Card (CAC) Login icon to begin the login process. If you haven’t previously visited myFSS, the platform will automatically create your account upon the first login, but may take up to 24 hours to build your profile. If you see your name displayed on the landing page upon login, your account/profile is active.

IT’S TIME TO SCHEDULE NEXT YEAR’S IDTs IN UTAPS
The next FY calendar is now available in UTAPS. IRs must go into UTAPS and put your next year’s IDTs into the UTAPS calendar no later than 15 Aug! This requirement exists because AFRC needs to see those days in order to budget for the next FY. It’s REALLY important for you to get those days submitted by the 15 Aug deadline. If you’re not sure of your IDT dates for the next fiscal year, that’s okay. Go ahead and put them in as your best guess and submit them, but contact your supervisor beforehand and request they don’t approve them yet. While you are required to input the days into UTAPS, you are not required to get them approved this early. By not having them approved, it will be easier for you to reschedule or delete and move those days when you are ready to.

The HQ RIO UTAPS Support Cell is now up and running. There is a Quick Guide with all the pertinent information you need. Please feel free to share it with your supervisors and URCs. We have Stand-In Supervisors standing by to assist should you need their help with approving, validating, or sending days to pay in UTAPS.
