Transition Assistance Program (TAP) information
The Transition Assistance Program (TAP) is congressionally mandated and attendance is REQUIRED for any IR that performs 180 days or more of orders is required to complete the TAP. The TAP is designed to help you understand your military benefits and assist with your transition to the civilian sector.

DoD TAP is an outcome-based statutory program (10 USC, Ch. 58) that bolsters opportunities, services, and training for transitioning Service members in their preparation to meet post-military goals
Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program
The Air Force Reserve Yellow Ribbon Program is a series of events designed to provide members and families with essential resources prior to departure (pre-deployment), a level of stability and support while deployed (during deployment), and successful re-integration techniques after the deployment cycle ends (post deployment).
