PAY AND TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT TAKING LONGER THAN USUAL
This summer has seen a major increase in AT and IDTs performed by our IMAs, which is resulting in longer processing times for pay and travel reimbursement.  Each week we update the processing times on the HQ RIO website on the PAY and TRAVEL pages. When you submit, take a look there to get an idea of how long you can expect to wait before the pay or reimbursement hits your bank account.  If that posted timeline is exceeded, you can contact your detachment for help elevating the ticket. Our technicians are working tickets as quickly as possible, and we are doing everything we can to make the process as timely as possible.

DID YOU SCHEDULE NEXT YEAR’S IDTs IN UTAPS?
The suspense for entering your IDT periods in UTAPS has passed, but if you haven’t done it yet, you need to ASAP.
This requirement exists because AFRC needs to see those days in order to budget for the next FY.  It’s REALLY important that you get those days loaded.  If you’re not sure of your IDT dates for the next fiscal year, that’s okay.  Go ahead and put them in as your best guess and submit them, but contact your supervisor beforehand and request that they don’t approve them yet.  While you are required to input the days into UTAPS, you are not required to get them approved this early.  By not having them approved, it will be easier for you to reschedule or delete and move those days when you are ready to.

The IR Advisory Council is seeking members for this next FY.  The invitation to apply can be found HERE. This is a fantastic opportunity to serve the IR community and have your voice heard.  The Council meets regularly and has input on HQ RIO initiatives and products.  The deadline to apply is 8 Sept, so don’t delay!

UPDATE: NEW PROCESS FOR THE RDEDB APPLICATION
Due to technical issues, ARPC developed a new application process for the AY22/23 Reserve Developmental Education Designation Board (RDEDB). All applicants must now apply in MyPers. If a member has already started an application using the previous process, a new application will need to be submitted using the new process. Applicants must review the Invitation to Apply (ITA), application instructions, complete the RDEDB fillable PDF application, and submit via MyPers incident. All of these attachments are available HERE. The new deadline for applications is 4 Oct 2021.
