THE FY 24 UTAPS CALENDAR IS NOW AVAILABLE – PUT YOUR DATES IN BEFORE 15 AUG
Each year IMAs must input their 24 or 48 IDTS into UTAPS by 15 Aug for the upcoming FY. This data is used by AFRC for budgeting purposes. If you know your dates, that’s great! If you’re not sure, simply build them at the end of the FY as a placeholder. You can always change them later. You must input all 24 or 48 IDT periods before hitting SUBMIT. When you do this, the system will send your supervisor an automated email prompting them to approve the dates. When you submit, the dates will turn yellow on the UTAPS calendar. If you want the option to move them later, ask your supervisor to hold off on approving them. That way they’re easier to change later -- submitting them (yellow) fulfills the requirement for AFRC budgeting. If you need a refresher, HERE is a quick guide on building your UTAPS calendar. If you run into issues, contact the UTAPS Support Cell. They can assist.
NEXT IR ALL CALL SCHEDULED FOR 19 JULY
The next IR All Call will be held 19 July at 0900 and 1300 mountain. The two events will be the same, we are doing both to make it easier for members in a wide variety of time zones. A REMINDER ABOUT ARCNET
A reminder that ARCNet is NOT a system of record. Information is pulled from various sources (MilPDS, myIMR, myFitness, myELearning) and flows into ARCNet from there. Members can send documentation to their detachment for comments to be added to the ‘remarks’ section of their ARCNet report, but manual updates cannot be made. Member must ensure system of record is updated, and wait for it to flow to ARCNet. If the update is medical (a dental form or flu shot), those can be sent to HQ RIO medical via myFSS. No full medical records, please.
APPLY SOON FOR FUTURE NCO LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COURSE
Those interested in applying for upcoming NCO Leadership Development Course dates, please keep reading. Open to SSgt/TSgt with NCOA completed 3+ years ago. This course is designed to prepare you for expanding your role as a leader and provide you with tools to assist in decision making and effectiveness as an Air Force Leader. A working CAC and Commercial Wi-Fi enabled laptop or tablet to accomplish the course work is needed. The course is unit funded through HQ RIO RPA.

The following needs to be sent to your assigned detachment (emails below): Career Data Brief, ARCNET report (MUST BE GREEN IN All AREAS), Fitness Report, Last 3 EPRs (if missing EPRs an email/memo from supervisor with justification), email concurrence from supervisor/rater, best way to notify you if selected, preferred dates.
