RIO Buzz Vol 58
I have been in the seat now for exactly one month and I am impressed, daily, with your hard work and what you all do for the Air Force. Thanks for taking the time to stay apprised of the things that directly impact all the IRs. Now, the Buzz:
THE “myIMA” TILE IS LIVE IN MYFSS
A mere 6 months after we were given the real estate to set up a myIMA Tile, it is now live in myFSS. It will take you to the IMA Management page with all the important HQ RIO links.
LEGACY EVAL SUSPENSE EXTENDED TO DEC 31
We’ve learned that that some units may have had issues accessing vPC recently which negatively impacted their ability to process and/or upload completed legacy evaluations. In order to maximize units’ capability to complete these overdue evaluations, we are extending our suspense. All legacy evaluations now must be in a “work in progress” status in vPC by 31 December for these reports to be updated in members’ records before vPC is shut down.
Please ensure your last eval is closed. Since PRDA is down, you can go to your Career Data Brief (CDB) to verify. Use this quick guide to help you check.
Your Active Duty CSS is the one completing this (your Det may have additional resources but they will not be able to finalize your Eval as they do not have access to your MilPDS). We understand that some IRs are having issues with the AC unit’s inability to access your records. If this is the case, please reference this guidance with the updated instructions for your CSS.
BODY COMPOSITION GUIDANCE FOR IRs
The Air Force body composition program requires members to accomplish this task in their birth month, which can be difficult for IRs. Click HERE for new guidance regarding how IRs can get this accomplished, including latitude for scheduling the body comp outside of the member’s birth month.
DID YOU MISS MY FIRST IR ALL CALL?
Thanks to the hundreds of you who attended my first IR All Call. It was great being able to virtually say hello and read your questions. If you missed the All Call, a recording can be found HERE.
FOUR DTS QUICK GUIDES AND NEW TRAINING
The DTS transition is leading to many questions, understandably. Check HERE for four new quick guides on DTS, IDT Lodging, IDT Travel, and AT/IDTs in Conjunction. More guides are coming soon. HQ RIO also held new DTS virtual training today. You can find the recording, slides, and Q&A breakdown HERE.
Very respectfully,
