HAVE YOU RECENTLY PERFORMED AT/IDTS IN CONJUNCTION? CHECK YOUR LES
HQ RIO has identified an issue with pay/points calculation when IRs performed AT/IDTs in conjunction. The issue has been fixed, but if you’ve performed this type of duty in the last six months, double check your LES to ensure you were paid and credited points for the total number of AT days & IDTs you expected.
AN UPDATE ON ENLISTED UNIFORM REPLACEMENT
Due to a contract issue with KYLOC, HQ RIO is currently unable to provide uniform replacements for our enlisted members. Please DO NOT submit now. Wait for more information to become available in a future Buzz. Urgent requests for uniforms can be submitted via myFSS to the HQ RIO General Inquiry queue with a message signed by your AC Commander, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
ON LONG TOUR ORDERS? ENSURE DEERS IS UP TO DATE
When a member is on a long tour order (MPA or RPA), the orders are sent to DEERS, which in turn provides that information to the TRICARE system to facilitate TRICARE Prime/TRICARE Prime Remote health insurance. It’s never a bad idea to periodically check the TRICARE website and/or milConnect to ensure all the paperwork is in place. This is especially important if your orders were extended or curtailed.

Col Nathan “N8” Day
