Big changes are coming to the Air Force, and we want to make sure you're in the loop. The Air Force Chief of Staff Gen Allvin just released a video announcing some upcoming policy changes. The CSAF is emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards, both personally and professionally, to make sure we remain the best Air Force in the world. We'll be keeping you updated on these changes over the next 90 days, so you can stay ahead of the curve. 

Meet the New IR Advisory Council Members! 

We're excited to welcome six new members to the IR Advisory Council: 

• Lt Col Julie Capernal 

• Maj Rodney Glassman 

• Maj Aaron Schmidt 

• Capt Katherine Carr 

• SMSgt Manly Souza 

• SSgt Kelsey Hipnar 

This council is all about giving IRs a voice and helping to identify solutions to the challenges we face. We want to hear from you, so don't be shy about reaching out to your council reps with topics you'd like to discuss or issues you're facing. You can also shoot us an email at rio.ir.ac@us.af.mil.

Retroactive bonuses and incentives: ARPC will process requests for eligible members with application (eligibility) dates between 1 Oct 2019 - 30 Sept 2024.  

• IMAs must contact the HQ RIO TMC regarding any bonuses/incentives from FY20 to FY24 that they may be eligible for if they have not done so already.   

• Contact TMC via email at arpc.hqrio.careerassistance@us.af.mil or MyFSS HERE. 

• IMA suspense to HQ RIO: 31 Jan 2025 

The HQ RIO TMC will verify eligibility and submit the incentive packages to ARPC on behalf of the member. For bonuses prior to 1 Oct 2019, members will need to submit an appeal through the Air Force Board for Correction of Military Records (AFBCMR).  

Mandatory Separation Date (MSD): Now, officers can find information on MSD extensions in myFSS. You can view this information HERE or search for Answer ID: 000010249 in myFSS.
